Do you ever watch comedian Kathy Griffin? She had the best term I think I’d ever heard to sum up ALL the people who make this country worse than it could be. She called them “Aggressively Ignorant” and if you think about it, that’s such a perfect identifier. She wasn’t talking about physical aggression, she [...]

The legal system isn’t (and shouldn’t be) swayable by the masses. Surely the not-so-long-ago past in which whites were set free despite assaulting or killing a black man shows you that.
We live in a country where we bring about change through the voting both. We have secondary methods of course, protests, boycotts, petitions, etc… but [...]

News comes out today that Universal’s music group is attempting to jump to a new distribution method in order to get past iTunes… Unfortunately for Universal it won’t work on the iPod.
I once dated a guy who worked for Universal in their licensing department. I guarantee you Universal doesn’t understand that the average consumer has [...]

This book isn’t terrible. If I could I’d give it 2.5 stars.
E Lynn Harris is black, and gay. This fact is stated so many times in the book that it is a wonder the book isn’t titled “MY LIFE SUCKED BECAUSE I’M BLACK AND GAY, BUT MOSTLY BECAUSE I’M BLACK!!!! DID I MENTION I’M [...]

The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that Muni’s management has asked for $120,000,000 (120 million dollars) to upgrade their command center. They don’t like using old computers apparently. Okay, that’s understandable… what’s not understandable is the $120,000,000 number they’re throwing around. Let’s take a look:
Let’s say they replace every single computer [...]

Okay, I’m getting some major good vibes from Obama lately. The man seems to be the only “clean” candidate. His only (possible) blemish is that he spent parts of his childhood in Pakistan.
Today comes news that Obama took a large step today in sound like the President he very well could be. [...]

Okay, I just have a big FU to my friends out there. Alberto Gonzales resigns while I’m away at Burning Man and nobody bothers to mention it to me? What is this craziness? How do I find out if none of you well let me know about these things? Well, I happened to cruise by [...]
