Microsoft has really made a mess of itself with Vista. Let’s just get that out in the open.
Most of us were happy with Windows XP. Many of us would have been happy with a 64 bit version of Windows XP. Instead Microsoft felt it needed to put out a whole new, poorly made, and poorly planned for new operating system called Vista.
What Microsoft failed (and still continues to fail) to recognize is that we as consumers have a lot of choice these days. Unlike the in the prior decade we are not locked to Windows as an operating system. So while Microsoft has “end of lifed” XP, and refuses to sell the operating system most of us would like on a new computer rather than the known clunker of Vista, Apple and Ubuntu Linux have been snapping up Microsoft defectors by the truckload.
