Deep Horizon Clean Up Analogy.

Once again the wealthy are going to get the benefit of socialism while the rest of us have to live in a barbaric kill or be killed capitalist economy. Of course rather than allowing BP to go bankrupt there is going to be a taxpayer funded bail out for the company.
Here’s an analogy for [...]

Goldman Sachs catches the eye of SEC regulators.

Looks like the SEC is finally going to take down Goldman Sachs for defrauding the public. Newspaper reports indicate that the firm sold securities that were set up to fail.

Keli Mcgregor is dead. So what.

Keli Mcgregor is dead. So what, he owned a baseball team and undoubtedly got lots of free tax payer dollars for a stadium like most baseball teams do. By the way, it is spelled Keli, not Kelly.

Gray Powell becomes a phenomenon.

So today Gizmodo outted the engineer who lost the upcoming 4th Generation iPhone. They did it in a way that was rather tacky, and now the internet is buzzing with the fate of Apple engineer Gray Powell.
What is interesting is that in the last hour his name by itself was ranked 85th in [...]

Oral Roberts is Dead…

Not soon enough if you ask me. That miserable troll of a man lived far too long a hate filled life. Sure he died wealthy and adored by millions of his fellow hate loving evangelicals… but he still died after living a life consumed by hatred. Pity is something I don’t [...]

Major News: Dems Drop Kick Republicans

The absolutely unconscionable behavior of the Republicans over the past month in regards to the healthcare reform bills before Congress and the Senate has resulted in an all out dismissal of the Republican minority in congress.

It’s about damn time!

According to the NYT (via San Jose Mercury):

Given hardening Republican opposition to congressional health care proposals, Democrats now say they see little chance for the minority’s cooperation in approving any overhaul, and are increasingly focused on drawing support for a final plan from within their own ranks.

Telling it like it is.

Barney Frank hits this one out of the park. This should be the standard democratic response to these right wing fascist nuts:

Unions Kick Dems In Ass.

The leadership of the AFL-CIO let the Democrats know that they were trying to burn the wrong crowd with their attempt to drop a public option from the Healthcare reform bill currently in the Senate.

One of the country’s most prominent union officials is warning that big labor may pull its support from Democrats who don’t fight for a government-run insurance plan.

In an interview with the Huffington Post on Saturday, Richard Trumka, the secretary-treasurer and likely next president of the AFL-CIO, said his federation is drawing a line in the sand when it comes to a public option in the health care bill. Lawmakers who don’t support the provision, he said, shouldn’t take anything for granted.

Watch Rachel Maddow give her own ass whopping to Democrats after the jump.
